I saw a Youtube video of a binding tool by Susan Brown and it looks great. Wondering if anyone uses this tool? If so what do you do if you have a smaller project?
Maybe you could post a link to the video, Susan. Not sure what tool this might be, but I tried demonstrating my Martelli zip bind tool on a small quilted wallhanging, and it was a pain to use on something so small.

Kim, I have given up on all these "binding tools" out there and just do it my own way which works well for me. However, I would like to see the video, too. Susan

Here is the video of the tool I was inquiring about.
I have The Binding Tool and used it for the first time today. I was binding a 25" x 25" table center piece. The tool made the job much easier. Make sure that you leave a 12" opening. There is another youtube video showing you how to use the binding tool to make a Friendship Braid Quilt.
I would advise watching the youtube video when using The Binding Tool for the first time. The instructions are printed very small and the video is much easier to follow.
I have seen umteen binding tools and don't use any of them - I posted a binding pictoral on how to do it and that is the best way I can tell you how - I saw this demonstrated to me and tried it - I don't have to remember anything - don't have to find my tool and re-read the directions or look at a video - Nope don't use binding tools...
Thea, do you still your binding pictorial link?
Kim - I use the binding tool. You can't use it on a project where you can't have that 12" opening so you are out of luck on smaller projects. You also cannot use it on any other width of binding - only works when you start out with a 2 1/2" wide strip of fabric.

Annie: Thea, do you still your binding pictorial link?
Annie - here is the pictoral link to the binding pictoral tutorial I put here a couple years ago.

Thea,
Thanks. I really like it. I have a F&P tool that works well but like you mentioned, I sometimes forget exactly how to use it then have to go searching for the instructions. I'm going to try your method next time.
