I have been a member of QCA since 2010, but this is the first time I have time to introduce myself. I have been quilting for awhile now. Mainly tree skirts, towel toppers and baby quilts. I have been married to a wonderful man for 11 years now. We just celebrated our anniversary on Sept.8. I don't get alot of time to quilt, but I try to make the most of the time I can get. I have 2 chocolate Labs - "my kids" a boy Sammie and a girl Chels. I also work a full time job at Armando's Collision Center, Inc. in Kenosha, WI, which is 50 miles one way from my home in Milwaukee, WI. I have just finished 2 baby quilts for my great nieces-posted picture - and am working on a third for my husband's great nephew. Hope to finish it soon.

Welcome kcrafter, my name is Tamra, I am a newbee (beginner) quilter. Your baby quilts are gorgeous. I am 51 years young and have been married for 30 years to a wonderful man. Have 2 beautiful daughters who live in Florida. We live in Western North Carolina in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I also work a fulltime job and attend college on a part-time basis and quilting is now my new hobby. Have admired quilters all of my adult life and thought it was time to try it. Have been sewing for over 30 years and am looking forward to learning embroidery as well.
