Bonita. love the cop stories. And Gini, maybe I will have to get a hula hoop. Looks like good exercise. By the time I got that good, I would need to buy some new clothes as my current ones wouldn't fit.

"Dad, what are you talking about?" the son screams... (pg 32) Debbie, I emailed this to my pastor, and he read it in church today. He, he!

Sweet kitties! I have a cousin who fosters kittens, too. I wonder if Pickles would put up with guest kitties.

I know Orca would not stand for any new kitties here. In any case I'm not sure I'll be able to give them back.

Watching this, I realized how much I miss having cats. But DH is allergic and he is a keeper.
Subject: Drinking & Driving
A good reminder for the Holidays:At this time of the year, when the roadblocks come up with greatregularity, I would like to share a personal experience about drinkingand driving. As you well know, some of us have been known to havehad brushes with the authorities on our way home from anoccasional social session over the years.A couple of nights ago, I was out for an evening with friends and hada couple of cocktails and some rather nice red wine. Knowing full wellI may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've neverdone before - I took a cab home. Sure enough, I passed a police roadblock but, since it was a cab, they waved it past.I arrived home safely without incident, which was a real surprise, as Ihave never driven a cab before and am not sure where I got it or whatto do with it now that it's in my garage.
