Claudette, just look at that beautiful smile! God Bless you! My friends hair grew in curly after her chemo and radiation but didn't last more than a couple of months, strait as a pin now. I love your pot holders, really cute, did you use the insulbrite in them or batting?
Millbury, MA
Marie, I used 1 layer of Warm & Natural and a layer of Insul-bright, which was the layer closest to the grabbing surface for the potholder. I just used a double layer of W&N for the tops where the fingers go.
Thanks everyone for all of the compliments on my potholders. I've made several of these in the past and they have been greatly appreciated. Still have yet to make a pair for myself (LOL!)
I also appreciate everyone's warm wishes and caring thoughts during my battle with Cancer. You are all such wonderful people!
Claudette, I love the heart shape you put into those pot holders.
Glad to hear that your chemo and radiation are behind you. Love your hair. Saw a lady at the casino yesterday that had the same " hair cut" as you do. Ginny
Claudette,
love your pot holders. You look beautiful and healthy, not to mention a million dollar smile.
Has anyone signed up for Amy Gibson's BOM? Stitcherydickorydoc??
Annie: Has anyone signed up for Amy Gibson's BOM? Stitcherydickorydoc??
Yes, Annie I have... waiting for fabric bundle to arrive, but couldn't get what she recommended, so I'm using my own. It will be fun and hope that she is using videos

I haven't signed up as of yet. But pretty certain I will. I think I'll use my stash for this one.
it's good to see you're making progress in your treatment and recovery. You are in my daily prayers. Thanks for sharing. I like the pot holders and your smiling face.
There's a new Craftsy 2013 BOM that just started!

Going to go Christmas on this one.
