Your blocks look great Jap. I finished the chain block, but ended up frogging all the pieces and sewing them by hand. Perhaps larger ones are easier to do, but these were not fun! I think I will just plan on doing Cleopatra by hand. Unlike Amy Gibson I do not see myself using these templates very much in the future.
Nothing wrong with your blocks, Jap, they are very pretty and look good to me. Love the fabrics!

Jap, both blocks are beautiful. Love your winter fabric.
JAP:Here's the second block for September (Cleopatra's Puzzle).
It's lovely. Nice work.
Thanks everyone for your encouragement and kind words. I'm plugging along. Just finished the Friendship Circle Block for October. Although I'm prone to mistakes, I enjoy paper piecing. I have made a 45 X 60 blanket using this method. It is super ugly, but I love it anyway. It is "dog" themed. This is the first block in the craftsy class that has been large enough to trim, which caused me headaches. I thought since it is paper pieced and I measured scant 1/4 inch seams when necessary that it would turn out the perfect size, but no. All the other blocks have been slightly small.
Jap, your block turned out real nice. I like that you put the blue on the corners. Very pretty.
Finally done with the last 2 blocks. I must have been too tired- had to re-do the last block on the second block 2 times.
Very pretty blocks Annie.
Annie, your blocks are so very pretty.
Very nice work, Jap, love your snowmen middle.
Annie, very nice blocks, love your colors.
Annie, Very pretty blocks - I have to download my patterns today so I can get started on these 2 - back from retreat - now to get my you know what in gear... although I still feel like just sitting in my chair. I downloaded my last QU class and now need to get busy on the CBOM class... and looking at these blocks it should be interesting. I don't think I have made these 2 before.
I love your colors how they go around the wheel so to speak - very movement oriented.
Jap - I love your lock - so Christmasy... very nice!

Great job on your blocks Annie. My printer is out of colored ink and DH has not replaced the cartridges yet so I'm not yet able to do mine. I'm sure they won't take long once I get them printed. :-)
