Patricia Faye: I finally finished the 2 September blocks today. I used the wrong template twice and had to recut them again. As a result, I didn't really enjoy making these blocks, but I did learn something new.

I think your blocks turned out great, reminds me of the islands. I messed up one of my background fabric strips too by using the small one when I needed the larger. One thing about this block we will not be afraid of curves anymore.
Thanks Patricia Faye.

Pretty blocks Patricia.
Yes mine is wireless too. They are nice as we can now print off the lap top. I hate computers sometimes. My son has to set me straight and now my Grandkids know more than me!! LOL These kids are so adept at things. It takes me awhile to grasp things. When I finally got the pattern to print the right size I forgot how I did it!!! I wrote it down in my little book I keep by the computer so I won't forget now. This getting old is no fun for sure.
Very pretty Patricia, good job!

Patricia -- love the colour choices of your blocks. I never think about working with larger prints -- very effective!
Mine are finished. I just was not going to cut out and work with those tiny squares, so the first one I tried was a 6" four patch, and the second 4-1/2"--nine patch. It was a good exercise in working with curves, but not as frustrated as trying to work with 32 tiny ones would have been.
Belfry, looks great

Thank you. The instructions called for 16 squares per block and there are two, so 32 tiny squares to work with. The instructions had 7 pins in each square! Yikes! So I decided to simplify or I knew I would never had done them. With my method, I learned how to work with curves, which I really think was the object of the lesson.
Thanks for explaining, BB.
Belfrybat:Mine are finished.
Pretty blocks Belfrybat.
Patricia and Belfrybat - great blocks... mine are done - I took pictures - they are over in my camera...teehee - way over there... I'll try and get it the next time I get up - trying to stay as put as I can today... just ran out of applique pieces to cut out so shortly I'll get up and get something more to do - at the moment am staying in one spot so my back leaves me alone.
Patricia
At first glance your red/blue blocks does remind me of Hawaii...looks like tropical fish!
To me, even blocks that are mistakes are blocks, sometimes even better than the original.
I just watched a video from MSQC on an easy way to do the Drunkards Path that some may want to try. Look for Drunkard's Path Quilt - The Easy Way on the Missouri Star quilt Company website or maybe youtube.

Judy T-Bellingham: I finished the Craftsy BOM September blocks. Not a fun project but I was determined to do it.

Great job Judy. I especially like the one on the right. Love your fabrics, they are so cheerful.
