Carol - I did try to make a block from the fabric I had cut but although they sewed just fine; I was upset with it because that curve is just slightly off - bad mama jama for a perfectionist...lol... especially when I am only making one of each block. I am going to take the computer over later and hook it up to my other printer and see if it prints out right. On that 1" little square - I am 1" one direction and 7/8" the other direction...so I think it is the set up of the printer - or my .pdf file program is somehow set up wrong...
It has been a long time since I tried to figure things out on my computer - lol - but since I am just able to sit here today - maybe that is what I will attempt to do...
I did get in the pool and hot tub to see if the water would ease some of the arthritis pain... it did till I dried off...teehee wonder if I can live in the hot tub
Great blocks Carol. Love the stripes.
Thanks Marie, I'm likeing the brighter colors too.
Pretty blocks Carol. Love your fabrics.
Bonita: Here's mine. I took the cowards way out and traced around the templates I made and cut them out one by one with sissors. Didn't want to slip with the cutter and cut the templates or my fingers using the thin cardboard. They were fairly easy to do just sat and watched TV until they were all pinned. Anyway I'm happy with them.

Thanks Ginny, the white fabric came from Jo-Anns. I didn't save the selvege so don't remember if it had a name. Just check in their white section.
Carol, love your blocks

Bonita, all caught up wish I could say the same I think I only have the first 3 months done lol. Pretty blocks
Bonita, so pretty!
I splurged and ordered the template so I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of yet another purchase. Can't wait to get it started!
I recently was making a block very similar to these and I used an olfa circle cutter. I just lined it up to the templates I printed.
Very cute, Kelli, love the puppies!

Those are the accuquilt gingham puppies. My guild had a challenge to use the black with white spot material in a baby quilt and I had been wanting to use that die and this is what I came up with. Thank you
I made a quilt last year
and this
they are both made using the drunkards path templates - but alas - I was making them for the Quilters depot and do not have the templates anymore... I could have used that small template set and cut them down - it made I think a 4" block. The templates for the 2 quilts have templates for both parts - the big L shape and the little shape... I love those type of templates rather then the little 1/4 circles for the L shape -
I am impatiently waiting for the templates to arrive from Marti Michele's company....
In the meantime... I am stuck in my chair...lol I hopefully will be in better shape when they get here.
Thea,
Those are beautiful quilts. Sorry to hear you are stuck in your chair. hope you get to feeling better soon.
Thank you Kelli - it is this dang arthritis - it will ease up soon I hope - lol - we have had some horrendous storm systems going through the area and they mess me up - wish I could make the house like a bubble so that the barometric pressure would stay even keel - but alas - I can't do that - so i have a few days really bad days like this and then I even out and move again... for the moment am playing here and soon I hope my hands will be limber enough from the typing exercise that I can finish that embroidery on Santa A-Z - at least I have chair work to do...teehee
