Zeba,
You know all of us here are in your corner! Keep us posted as to when the surgery will take place so we can be there...spiritually!

I guess I'll be the first to post pics on the new thread. I couldn't get into it for awhile, but figured it out finally! The pattern is "fit to be tied". I made this for a very good customer of mine. I think this makes the 7th quilt she's bought from me. I really had fun playing on this one! But I'm really having fun with the French Braid on the machine right now. Will post it later.
As we practice, so we get better. I'd love to practice but I cannot get my machine to cooperate. The tension is still off. I'm going to get a friend to fill a bobbin (thats all I need to finish this quilt) I'm almost sure its the tension on the bobbin being filled unevenly. If it is, at least I can go forward and maybe order prefilled. At least until I get the bobbin winder looked at. When its good, its really good. when its bad, its horrible.
Cindy,
Wow! Great quilt. I know she is absolutely going to love this one!
As promised, here's the French Braid I just finished. Yes, I know, I was having wayyyyy too much fun! But it's certainly different than any I've seen!
Great quilt and the quilting is definitely FUN! Love the pink thread.
Don't we just have the best fun?? I love your work and keep posting those pictures.
My latest customer quilt. I really struggled with the white fabric in this quilt. You can see all the stitching! I would never choose the white if it was my quilt.
So, now that I'm at home and not on perma-vacation, I finaly took the time to really check my longarm and try to figure out what is causing the eyelashing. Turns out it is my bobbin winder. Yup, not the machine at all. I took a bobbin down to another longarmer and had her fill a bobbin for me and it worked fine after I adjusted the machine back to the proper tension. I will be taking the winder and the new bobbins I just bought back to the store. one for repair and the bobbins because they don't even fit the bobbin winder pin at all. So so simple, so so very frustrating.
Love the quilting on your French braid! Great quilt!
Jeanine,
Great quilting on your customer's quilt. I agree the white pops a little too much and overwhelms the quilt.
Vivian,
Glad your home and were able to get down to the problem on your tension. That was a simple enough fix but I know it must of been aggravating. We quilters like things to go smooth.
Great quilts!!
Margaret
As always - the quilting looks great! I agree on the white!
Great quilting! But, like you, I wouldn't have put white in it. Oh well, each person is different.
