Marie:I've learned next time I make a pinwheel quilt to press the seams open, the press to one side was h--l to sew over!
Marie, Charlie Brown turned out so cute! Thanks for the tip on pinwheels. I'm just starting one now. Tomorrow I will repress the seams open on the pieces I have completed so far.

melody, click on the post you want to quote. if you want the entire body of the post in your post, in the lower left corner it says "Quote", just click that and it will appear in your post. i then click enter a couple of times to put my part of the post much lower than the quoted post.
if you want just a portion of the quote to appear, drag you mousie arrow to the end of the part you wat to quote, left mouse click and it will highlight, drag your mouse until you have isolated the part of the quote you want in your post, once you have it highlighted, go down and click that "Quote" again.
Ok my friends, I need a little help. I have finished cutting all the pieces for my "Sarah's Wedding Quilt", except 1 piece. It is as 36 1/4 x 36 1/4 inch square that has to be cut diagonally twice to make 4 triangles. I have folded the material twice and ironed the center point in, but I dont have a ruler long enough to go from corner to corner to even mark it to cut or just cut. Any suggestions?
Agnes , your quilt is beautiful ,and I love the mug rugs .
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Marie I just love your CB quilt, you did a fantastic job on it.
Wendy ,have a marvelous time, at your retreat .
Donna I have sat here and puzzled your dilema and I really can't think of a way I am sorry, have you asked in quilting questions forum someone there may come up with a way. The only way I could think of is to use the longest ruler you have and carefully move it as you cut. Sure that's not the right way but it's all I can come up with.

Agnes, all these are beautiful. You have been quite busy.

Marie, your GGS will have lots of cuddles and dreams in this beautiful quilt. It is adorable!
Wendy have fun at your retreat. I hope we will get to see pictures of what will be created there. I love to see what new things are being created.
Donna you are so busy quilting, do you have time to sleep? I know tha for some people sleep might be overrated, but wow, I'm impressed by how many different things you have going! Now I definitely want to see pictures of your progress as I am in awe at all the projects you have going.

Donna did you try to draw the cutting line first? Or even press in your cutting line by folding it diagonally? That way you would have something to follow as you move your ruler. The only other thing I can think of is metal carpenter's tape you could put down and follow. All I have to say is those are huge triangles!
