What I did today is finish the GGS's quilt top. It turns out to be 32"x42" just 3" shy of what I wanted each way but it is what it is. I've learned next time I make a pinwheel quilt to press the seams open, the press to one side was h--l to sew over! Live and learn. Now to get this and the GS's sandwiched and quilted. The baby may come before I finish but I'm going to try my best.

Marie, the quilt top is beautiful.
No quilting yet today. Went cross country skiing with my sister. Then after lunch in Twisp, went to the local quilt store and signed up for a snow dying class. See you there Donna P!

Marie, your Charley Brown quilt is AWESOME! I love it.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Thanks for all the comments on my projects. The Lilac mug rugs are One Block Wonders, Stack and Whack or Kalidedscope(sp). Take your pick which phrase you want to use. Coffee cup mug rugs excluded, the main fabrics for the projects, give me extra joy because they were shared by Marge P.
Marie--Love your Charlie Brown quilt.
Agnes, i just love your flower quilt. I have lots of floral FQ's, I may have to make something like this with them.
Marie, you turned your pinwheels into a beautiful quilt.
Agnes, I love your flower quilt and also the mug rugs. I had been hearing about mug rugs but had no ideal what they were. Do you have patterns? I have been thinking today about making my mom and her roommate in the nursing home a cheerful quilt. I took a comforter down which was mom's favorite but her roommate only has a faded out spread from the nursing home and it has seen it's better days. Just not sure when I will get the time and I'm slow quilting. I will give it some more thought. It would need to be very simple for me to do. Anyway I think your quilt it great.

Marie, I think this quilt is really pretty. It is so bright and anyone would love it. I never thought about pressing the seams open but I can see where that might work better on a pin wheel. Your material is nice.
No sewing today, The machine is in the shop getting a check up. It is Annual quilt retreat time and we are leaving Wed afternoon for 5 days of fun quilting in Drigs Idaho.
Marie, your Charlie Brown turned out great. Your DS and new grandbaby will love it.

Marie, Charlie Brown turned out so cute! Thanks for the tip on pinwheels. I'm just starting one now. Tomorrow I will repress the seams open on the pieces I have completed so far.
