Too funny Gini, for me a planned project is where I have a pattern and fabric for a project. Anything else is just a dream. The only thing counting them does for me is make me think twice before buying anything else. That does't seem to last long though. How's that headache??

Yes. I am working on a Mother Goose quilt for my grandchildren to us when they visit. I am using Mary Engelbreit's panel for the front and one of her soft-panel books for the back of the quilt. It is coming along nicely!

Well--finally. I kept looking for those quilts since you said youwere going to put them on and never could find them. And here they are in all of their glory. They are so well done by all of the artists, including you. I think that I favor th leaf one also, but maybe that is because it is more vivid. Tell the kids--GREAT JOB! Ginny

Those are some great quilts! It doesn't surprise me they brought in $1000. How great you can volunteer at the school.

gini:i counted over 40 ufos one time... are those just the planned projects where you have fabric or patterns or both, or is the planning only in your head. i'm thinking of numbers of upwards of thousands. this is giving me a headache, i think i'll go start another project, that aways happies me up.

gini:here are the raffle quilts i made for the kids' school fundraiser. i don't know why they didn't post right-side-up, oh well. the leaf quilt is my favorite, it was made by the fourth graders, the fish quilt was made by the third graders and the flowers were done by the second graders. the three quilts brought in nearly $1000 for the school. i have been wanting to use some of the kids art in quilts since i started volunteering there. this was a great opportunity.
I love these. The leaf one is really awesome and I really like the fishes too.

Gina those quilts are great. I can't believe 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders made them. What did they do? I worked with different ages one year in the church school and we did lap size quilts for wall hangins of their handprints. Then some painted different designs on the blocks. Some looked pretty good others......ha But each one kept theirs. That was a lot of money to raise. My friend has a granddaughter going on a huge school trip in 2 years and needs $4,000 per person. I told her she should do a quilt or two. She has just joined QCA so I will tell her about your quilts.
