Joni: Please what is a quiltie!
A miniature quilt. Sukochi's are six inches square and Gini shared some twinchies (two inches) in her blog some time ago.
Brigit-Carol:I had another bout of insomnia last night so made a jelly roll style quilt top from 3" wide strips of tie dye. It is wild!
I like it Brigit. I like the teal or one of the pinks for borders. Maybe even a yellow.
Joni I think Lajuan said it was postcard .
I started assemby of blocks on point for nephew quilt and I forgot how to line it up right. Frustrates me .
need a refresher on it.

Brigit, your insomnia quilt is really pretty, does it really need a border?
Well, I have tried something new this week. I am part of the Round Robin group and Candis encouraged me to try something new. I also went shopping for quilt books in a thrift store. I found several old quilting books that I just fell in love with. One of them in a Seminole border book. I can't tell you all the details due to the surprise of the round robin. The thing is, trying something new has not been near as hard as I thought it would be. Now I'm excited about trying a lot of new things.

Worked on another quilt to try and sell... I had some old Laurel Burch fabric and thought this might make a cute quilt top...
