Brigit-Carol, I am sorry to hear of your furbaby"s problems. It is very difficult to let them go, I know. I have been in that dilema myself. His last trip sounds like it was fantastic though. Bless you for giving him that last treat. Ginny
Thank you so much, Leslie. I just got word that they are letting her come home. In fact, she is probably already there. Guess I'll give her a call. Ginny
Patti: Well I didn't work on a quilt today. I organized my sewing room and fabric. I found an old kit from years ago and made myself a new pin cushion/thread holder.

Patti this is so cute! What did you put in the rail for it to keep its shape? Pipe cleaner or wire?

Bridgid carol, I'm very was that you have lost your dog. I think deciding to put him down was not easy, but was probably the best decision. It is always hard to let go of our furry friends. The love, patience and warmth they give us is just that, nothing hidden behind. Remember the good times.

The tail had a piece of covered wire. Like electrical wire. Made a loop at the bottom, inserted in the bottom of the mouse, so that it stays in position.

Patti, cute mouse. If you have to have a mouse in the house that's the kind to have.
Brigit-Carol. So very sorry about the loss of your dog Elgar. It's hard to let go but it's harder to watch them suffer.
Bridgit Carol- I wish I was there to hug you as your puppy went over the Rainbow Bridge. I'm so sorry you had to loose him. My prayers are with you in your time of sorrow.
Many hugs.
Patti - Love the mouse!!!!
Forgot what this thread was all about for a moment there....I've been a busy bee. Just realized that I have 7 quilt tops finished for my retreat center project! I sent Dave photos of them and he's really pleased with them and can't wait till I start shipping them out. I guess I better start quilting some of them soon. I'm just finishing up some embellishment on the 7th quilt and then I can start quilting. Here are a couple pics of the quilts.I just finisihed the border on this last one yesterday.
Linda, Your quilts are all looking good. So bright and cheerful. Ginny
Great quilts Linda. I really like them.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Oh Patti, I'm loving your mousie. It's so cute!
Brigit-Carol, it is so hard to say good-bye to our loyal furry friends. I've been in your place and wish I was there to give you a hug. You know you did the right thing for Elgar. He's running and playing in a much better place.
