Really cute quilt Kelley! Good luck on EBay!!!
Kris, I really like your quilt top from 2010. Nice use of fabrics.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Nice quilt Kris. I like how you did the corners!
Kris:Now it's complete:
Love love love how the block changes with the placement of the darks and lights. Way to go.....if it needs a new home......just saying......LMK
Kris, I like the colors in this one as well as the pattern. Looks like the blocks are scraps? With the 3 main colors pulling it together? Are the corners finished? I can't tell from the picture.
Thanks for the kind words everyone.
Michelle, it's finished. Quilted and bound. The blocks are from a 10 inch square fabric swap and I added the other fabrics.
Brigit-Carol: Lovely machines. I've been keeping an eye out on E-Bay, but so far I keep getting outbid at the last minute. I finished a couple of mug rugs for a swap on another forum. I didn't like how the first one turned out -- I really am lousy at binding, so made a second using my preferred method of folding the back to the front for self binding. But other than the binding I was happy with the play of colours.

Dear fellow quilters, I am a lurker but was just going to go on to ask If I could bind mug rugs. You answered my question. You are all so talented, and I love reading and learning from you all.
I just finished another quilt, this one for a niece, from a kit from Keepsake Quilting (Ribbon Weave Kit Jan 2011).

Kris, beautiful quilt
I've finally got her up on the long arm to be quilted. Made this Maxine quilt for Myself!! Started her last summer when we were traveling out west in the RV. the holidays got me bogged down with other things, so I am determined to get her quilted this week. I have her backed with a really bright green minky. It's a really crazy quilt for me, as I don't usually do bright colors. Haven't decided what to do as the quilting yet. I usually let the quilt tell me what it needs. ( my friends think I'm crazy, but I think the quilts "talk" to me!)
Great looking quilt Kris. Love the background fabric you used in the blocks.
