Donna: I so wanted this kit because it is "Sarah's Wedding Quilt" and my daughters name is Sarah, but now that I have it, it says that it is for "expert" level and I am a beginner, I am so depressed over this that I cant seem to sew.
Don't let the rating keep you from doing this. That's just a suggestion. Just take it in small steps. Read through the pattern carefully take a few deeps breaths then proceed.

I'm not from Maine Marie so I couldn't tell you.
Right now you wouldn't hear one good thing about Maine from me. Ask again in the summer. LOL.
Nice table runner Judy.
I just finished the top for a baby quilt for a co-worker. Hope to get it quilted this weekend so I can give it to her Monday.

Patti, that baby quilt is so cute. It is sure to be well received. Ginny
Patti. That is a beautiful baby quilt. Love the butterfly.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
I forgot to give credit to this beautiful butterfly pattern. There are many other delightful patterns at craftandnappies.blogspot.com by Tartankiwi. She is a very talented woman. I found this by googling "butterfly quilt patterns photos" and clicked on the photo of her butterfly.
Judy T-Bellingham:
Darling kitty, Judy! We hear so much about your little dog that I didn't even know you had cats. Who takes care of them when you hit the road in your RV?
On the banks of the Mississippi River in north central Minnesota (Brainerd lakes area)
Patti:Sounds like much of Eastern WA is covered in ice. Freezing rain.
The Minneapolis weather is predicting this for tonight/tomorrow morning. I'm hoping we're far enough north to miss it.
Donna B:Skiing in ice is NOT fun!!!
Neither is dog walking! LOL
Love your table runner, Judy! Did you buy a lemoyne star template/ruler?
Patti:
Patti, what an adorable baby quilt that will make! Thanks for supplying the pattern source. Hey, that would be a good start for a round robin quilt, too.

Thanks Patti, I've pinned this to my Pinterest page.

Yea, we have two cats. They go into our heated garage with an overstuffed chair, blankies, food, water, toys. My son and wife come by daily to check on them and clean the cat boxes. We can't leave them in the house cuz they barf all over everything. When they are in the garage, on the cement floor, without good furniture, they don't barf. Go figure.

No, didn't need to buy a special ruler, I was able to use the angles on my 6x24 ruler. Worked great. I am going to buy a 60degree ruler today for making the One Block Wonder. I have a 50% coupon at Joanns.
I just don't seem to be getting any quilting done lately. Well, there are the guild's charity quilts which I'm in charge of this year keeping me busy, but they are just basic square blocks. Now we've switched our attention this month to making chemo hats out of recycled t-shirts. These can be dressed up with a scarf.
Randy's new mantra is "charity begins at home." He wants me to get back to his woodshop apron. I'm making it reversible out of these fabrics.
I'll laminate the fabric on one side so that it resists stains when he does his finishing work. Have you seen this product? It works really well.
And finally I'm still playing around with my new featherweight - cleaning, oiling, lubricating, adjusting. Can't wait to start a quilt top with this!
