Got a report on the table runner to DD for Christmas. Pic and text:
She said: So far this has had many uses by Sophie beyond table runner. It's also a shawl, doll blanket, pretend royal carpet, etc.
Joe, she is so cute! Looks like she will get a lot of use out of your table runner. :-)
I hope to work on a quilt today, but my roots are showing my true color and I am going to go stop that. Then DD needs me to babysit while she talks to DGD#1's teachers. DGD#1 is special needs so we will see what is up w/that. I will be able to come home between times in town so hope to quilt while home.
Everyone have a fantastic quilty day!!!!

Finished this doll quilt yesterday by adding the label... now I'm off to the quilting loft to work on Craftsy new BOM
Have a fabulous Quilt Day!
xoxoxo,
Joe, she is adorable and the table runner is not bad either LOL
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Very cute MM, have a great day.
Kris -- love the eye candy Easy Street quilt. I'm still on step 3, but seeing your has given me the encouragement I need to finish the steps up. The table runner/ shawl/ doll quilt is wonderful -- kids have such imaginations to use things differently. And I love the other doll quilt on here. (Sorry for the short term memory loss on names.)
I've been in a bit of a funk trying to get end of the year finance stuff done for our communty, so except for piecing another batik quilt that is only half-finished, haven't done much sewing. A friend of mine used to have a sign in his office that read: "A day without grits is like a day without God." I think I need to make another substituting the word "quilting" for grits (although I do love grits).

That's no fun BB, it is a good thing it only comes once a year!!

Oh Joe, she is such a doll. I went shopping this morning for animal and bug prints that I could use for a quilt for my soo-to-be great grandson. I sure could have used some of that bug fabric for that quilt, but I had to settle for others. LOL Ginny
I cut my squares for swap and then I started working on baby quilt.
