Donna:Bonnie will be at my quilters guilt next monday
Wow, Donna, I wish I was in your guild. We can't afford to have a big name speaker in. Lucky you! You have one week to finish "Easy Street," so sew round the clock! I think Bonnie would love to see it!
On the banks of the Mississippi River in north central Minnesota (Brainerd lakes area)
Donna: Wow Kris, if this one (Easy Street) is easier, I would hate to see the others. I am in the process now of putting the pieces together. I cant believe the number of pieces there were. Bonnie will be at my quilters guilt next monday and I was hoping to have it finished for show and tell, but doesnt look like I will make it.

Carol:Oh, Kris! It is beautiful! Proud of you for getting it done so fast! (No string blocks, right?)
Thanks Carol. That's right NO STRINGS. I could kiss Bonnie for that. LOL.
MNnancy:I love it...the design, the fabrics, the workmanship! Great quilt, Kris! Will you use this one at home or will it be a gift?
Thanks Nancy. It looks like this is a keeper. DH likes it and he doesn't usually go for scrappy. It's longer than my frame so I'll have to take it to the local sewing machine dealer to rent time on their long arm.
Thea:Kris - very pretty mystery quilt - love the colors you picked!
Angele:Kris, I love the quilt! I have never done one of her mystery quilts, but you are making it hard to resist. ;) i love the color movement in your quilt.

Ginny:Kris, Somehow I missed the picture of your latest quilt. It is beautiful. Not sure I would have the patience for so many pieces, but it sure is purty. Ginny

Absolutely super. I love how it turned out. I've saved all the blocks, but Heaven only knows I have way too many patterns and ones I'd love to do, but way too little time.
xoxoxo,
Not a good day for cutting...I just made one error after another yesterday. Going to get my Bible Study done and the shower, dress and start over again. I so want to do this block right, the fabrics are so lovely.
See you later!

So sorry your day is not going well, sometimes starting over is all we need. I do know that when I'm having a problem with cutting or sewing, if I just walk away for a bit it will usually come together...
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
