Max - Joe--Sophie's quilt is so sweet! She will be so proud of it. Could you get away will quilting a horned toad in place of a heart in one of the blocks? Just to give it an extra-special touch from Grandpa?
Excellent Idea I will do it.
gini:*#$@% ^&%#!* *&%?** my last three posts are pending moderation, grrrr. so much for them fixing the site. i thought i could tag onto another post, i'll see if it works.
But doesn't it make life interesting???? :)
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
one thing i don't lack, spud, are things to make my life more interesting. i'm married to a whirlwind and have a mini whirlwind daughter and a budding whirlwind granddaughter. my SIL grandson and i all sit around awaiting the next whirlwind to whisk us away on our new adventure.
I completed Bonnie Hunter's mystery. Here's my top:

WTG Kris!
Just beautiful, Kris. Everyone has done such beautiful work on this .
Linda:I can't think any further ahead than that right now. Head is pounding and coughing is back which means trouble.
Hope you feel better soon Linda.
Nana:I finished up another quilt top. This one was started at the Tennessee retreat in June. The pattern is called Barn Raising but sort of reminds me of trip around the world.
I love it Nana. Great colours.
MaxNTopeka:Anyhow, I did some test stars day before yesterday, and I picked some additional colors today, so I'm counting that as working on a quilt today. Planning is half the battle. What I like best is these stars are done from jellyrolls. Really saving my hands a lot of cutting. And no HSTs!!
Pretty stars Max.
