Bonita,
this is fantastic. Well done.
Bonita..... I love your MQ7... I love the colors...
Bonita -- lovely quilt. The colours are so soft but not "prissy". Your border is really nice and adds to the quilt a lot.

Bonita, the important part is that you finished it. And you did a wonderful job. Love the border. It really is fun. WTG
I have finished piecing the blocks and am now assembling Sophie's quilt, a nine-patch pink. Gonna have to get back to lizards and monsters to remember who I am after all this pink baby stuff.
When I have the top done I'll pic it.
We have some snow here. Weather says up to three inches but looks like more on the outside chair seat to me.
Anyway, off to work. Y'all try to keep it right side up in your wild celebrations.
Bonita, very pretty

Joe, I had to really laugh at your second sentence of your post. I was just reading along, not paying attention yet to who had posted when I read about getting back to lizards and monsters. That stopped me right there, and I had to stop and look at who had written it. Okay, now I understand. Do you live in northern Arizona that you are getting snow? Ginny
I need everyones help here. My daughter is getting married in a little over a year. I of course want to make her a quilt. Now first off, remember that I am still relativity a newbie, I might classify myself as an "advanced beginner". I know there is always the double wedding ring design. But what else is out there that screams a wedding quilt that I dont know of???? Help me my friends.

Karla, I don't know if this one screams wedding but I've always thought it would be lovely as a wedding gift. In the summer 2011 issue of Easy Quilts there is a lovely natural colored quilt by Cyndi Hershey called Naturally Natural. It is made as a throw but looks like you could increase the size by making more blocks. If you don't get Easy Quilts then you can go to the Fons and Porter website and search for the quilt's name. The pattern download is free. Hope this helps and good luck with your new project.
I love the big star quilts. This one is a very large six pointed star. The quilt is a queen. I made this one for my Granddaughter. It's made with Red Rooster's line Naturally Natural. I had a heck of a time finding the background fabric because this line isn't available anymore. The quilt is called Sara's Wedding Quilt. I found it in an old issue of Fabric Trends mag.
I really loved the Naturally Natural fabric line. Sorry to see Red Rooster isn't making it anymore. Hope this gives you another idea.
