Bev I love this pattern ,its wonderful ,I agree with Kris and Gini, if you don't like this color make another one instead of ripping out . I think you should leave it though ,YOu want santa to be different. Look foward to seeing the finished quilt.

Thanks Guys, I finished sewing the Santa block and now need to add the appliqué pieces which I will do later since I have never done any before. Now on to the star and log cabin blocks or maybe start another quilt.

Carolyn : So... on my first real FREE day (yesterday), I made this new purse for myself. The pattern is by Lazy Girl Designs and it's called Candice.
Cool bag Carolyn. I like the fabrics you've used.
Carolyn : I made this new purse for myself
weezee56: Carolyn : I made this new purse for myself Great purse, was it hard to make?
I didn't think so. Instructions were clear with lots of pictures. I only got confused once, which is good for me. :). I finished in a day and I was also running errands and doing laundry.
The only sewing I've done today is to hand applique (well raw edge) a butterfly onto the patched spot on the back of my MQ7. Looks pretty good...we'll see how it withstands the washer/dryer now.
