Thanks everyone for the sweet comments on the table topper and mug rugs. It felt so good to set down to the sewing machine again. I am still taking it really slow getting back to my quilting but I don't think I will be away from my machine much longer.
Cute apron, Donna, and I love your ideas for towels!
This reminds me that Randy requested a heavy-duty woodshop apron. I'd better get on that.

Thank you Nana, glad you are doing better. Now I am putting the borders on my Craftsy BOM and then I will be finished with that top. Maybe then I can get back to the Bonnie Hunt MQ, I am still on step one.. LOL
Craftsy BOM top is finished. I am on a roll today, to bad it is bed time. lol Now why is this sideways.................................... oh well you get the idea.

Oh my!. These are all beautiful. One year I will get to where I can do quilts like these, hopefully. Until then, I will just look at yours.
I' with you Michelle...love my featherweight, even my lovely great neice loved sewing her nana's placemat on it. She was on 8 at the time.
Elizabeth - I love the apron - I really like wearing aprons and need to make some for me Cassie and Echo - a Grandma Mom and Grand daughter thing - looks like that would be fun! They are so cute!
Donna - boy have you been busy - MQ7 and Craftsy! Very very nice... great eye candy for this morning.
I finished up my Quilt top that I was working on with Barbara for the last 3 days... wow... my head actually hurt trying to figure out how to make the final borders with just the picture - and then I had to change them as I didn't have enough of the fabric that I wanted - so had to go hunting... I did have some of the Let it Snow fabric scraps in my little fabric crazy stash room - finally found them and used them... I'll post a picture later - it would mean getting up and hanging the quilt so I could take a picture... argh - not this morning...
So since no box yet from Christine - guess i will start working on the satin stitching on the MR quilt. I am hopeful her box will arrive soon so I have some piecing to do on something - satin stitching is so tedius and works my arms a lot - but it has to be done - I just like to mix it up...
I finished the binding on Rita's quilt - it is ready to go out the door... Yahoo!!! Been working on it too long... and I have the one last border to put on my Craftsy Quilt and then it will be ready to quilt - it would free up my design wall if I would just do that today.
decisions decisions...
First I have to get this body to want to move...teehee
Donna ,very pretty .lots of bright colors . good job .
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
I have to tell you the quilt Thea has been working on is fantastic, Y'all are gonna love it. she did a great job on those borders, I'd have probably panicked..LOL Barbara
Oh, Donna. On this dreary, cold, very wet morning, this is a breath of fresh air. So cheery and bright. They are such happy, colorful blocks. You done good, my friend.
Donna B: Put a pair of the bath-towels, a set of hand-towels & washcloths together, gussy them up a bit and you have a very nice gift.
Donna--Love those towels. In my beginning quilting class we were taught Seminole piecing to sew over the towel band. Even with the piecing those made quick gifts. These would be super quick.
