Donna:
Today I finished the 20 sweatshirts that DH decided each of our kids and grandkids had to have for Christmas.

Wow, that is a lot of sweatshirts Donna. Did DH take you out to dinner? :)

I just downloaded an owl table center from EQ Boutique. It's called Owls in the Round. I'm in the process of selecting fabrics to make it for my granddaughter for Christmas.

Then, last night the most gorgeous Christmas fabrics arrived from Keepsake Quilting. They are Hoffman All that Glitters and Hoffman Holiday Collection plus some other Hoffman Christmas fabrics. I got three 1 yard pieces, a packet of 12 fat quarters and a packet of jelly strips. Reasonable price ($8.48 yd) and free shipping. Now I have to figure out what to do with them but they are too pretty to cut up! What to do, what to do??

What is EQ Boutique? I have EQ but don't know that much about it, I was just starting to figure it out when I started treatment so now I'm starting over as far as learning how to use it.

Those are gorgeous fabrics Judy, I saw them in the catalog but I have some Christmas fabric I bought a few years ago that I need to do something with. I look forward to seeing what you do with these.

I finally completed a project...Yeah!!!  This is a wall-quilt Thank You to friends who loaned us the use of their beach cabin on the Oregon Coast last summer.  I started working on the log-cabin fish blocks at the Leavenworth Retreat (thank you Judy E for all your help!) and purchased the beige set-in triangle beachy fabric in Massachusetts in October.  So, this quilt has some history...lol!  Anyway, it is done - and before Christmas...which was my goal.  Now I can move on to more projects.

(Sorry for the side-ways room, DH, chair, etc. but the quilt looks better this way.)

Spud, it's a free software from EQ that you download from My Eq Boutique. Then you can buy whatever patterns you want to download. I installed Boutique some time ago and finally bought a pattern last night, the Owls in the Round. Unlike the block patterns in EQ itself, these come with printed instructions.

My only problem was printing the templates. There were 30 pages with the same templates repeated over and over. I deleted those I didn't want but it took forever as there are so many small pieces.

I'm now trying to select fabrics but George is antsy and wants to go out for lunch. He's HOOVERING, so I'd better get my rear in gear.
