I haven't yet, but still have high hopes for today. I really intend to get the MQ done...
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Strange -- looks like yesterday's posts on this thread have disappeared. Another board glitch, I presume?
At any rate, I'm enjoying seeing what everyone is working on. I've finished putting together 4 rows of the MQ7, worked on the Judy's train MQ from another board, and pressed the Easy Street four patches. Am now ready for the next step that was posted this morning -- lots and lots of tiny flying geese! I also made a table runner I'm pleased with. It started out being made the same way as the 10 minute topper, but I used 60" fabric and put thin batting inside and quilted it with a large cross hatch design. It is for a friend who likes bright wild colours.
Very pretty table runner, Brigit.

Brigit-Carol,
You have been busy! The table runner will make your friend very happy!

Bright and pretty runner. Your friend wiil be very happy to get it.
I did. I am trying to get a lap quilt finished. It is a project our church is doing and we will be giving the lap quilts to our Medical Van which helps the street people and others who cannot afford medical or dental. They do both. Also, some of them will go to the police station for emergency situations for them. Mine is a bit crooked but I don't think too many people will notice. It is lovely and warm. Done in peach and blue & white with double flannel on the back.
A short while ago I finished a rag quilt for a little baby that we know. The parents of this child have some difficulties.
Must put quilting away for a few days. I will miss it.
Hi OneTiredGrandma, it is nice to meet you. It sounds like you have been very busy. I hope you will post some pictures of your quilts when you get a chance.

I had a very hard time getting my post on last night, then just after that the whole site shut down. Obviously, everything we posted disappeared into space again! Maybe we have been posting too many pictures for everyone to drool over. I like your table runner. It will surely brighten up your friend's table. I need to make some with that pattern for myself to use some of the fabrics I don't want to cut up.

Carol, I love the back of your MQ 5 - That quilt will look good no matter how it ends up after use! Wonderful idea.
I read where they shut down the site every nite at 11:30p to work on if. They are aware of problems
