Thanks Joan. I wouldn't have posed the question if I didn't have my doubts. If I had a bad experience I would tell someone who asked. I wouldn't necessarily post an unsolicited review, but I would answer a question. I appreciate your answering my question.
Oh Pat, We live and learn or as I say" I live and never seem to learn." You are welcome.
Today I am working on my Irish Chain quilt and now need just need to add my 3 borders which will be in black, gold, and green with a black binding. At least that is how I am picturing (is that a word?) it for right now. When it comes to quilting that is where I draw a blank. I will be hand quilting and am thinking stitch in the ditch for nine patch and some kind of shamrock motif in the white squares. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bev, I can't help you on the quilting, but I really like it. Love the center fabric. Your border plan sounds good to me. :)
Hi, Bev - Here's what I like to do for nine patch: In each of the nine squares, quilt an arc between adjacent corners with the high point of the arc to the inside of the square. You'll end up with four arcs in each square. Hope I'm clear enough in my explanation. I tried to do a copy and paste of a diagram but this message format doesn't allow that.
How about thinking of a smilie face mouth from corner to corner.

Sorry I don't have this. But, "The SmallerProject"??? Ha, Ha, Ha... looking at the detail, I don't think so! I am working on one with a lot less detail and it is taking f-o-r-e-v-e-r! (Just thinking of the thread changes makes me cringe...lol.)

Wow Kelly they're beautiful. It must have been quite an undertaking to get the light and dark to match up just right for the trees to sit right on the top of the hill. My hats off to you.
