It's not a quilt (although it is quilted), but this is what I worked on today. I made it for my grandsons first Christmas:

maddie's mom was over and wanted to sew. we got 4 quilts squared up and ready for binding, got another one all bind and ready to ship. Still have 2 more labels to make then 2 more shipments to go out. After this all will go to a school in the northeast.affected by the Super storm
I am waiting to find out which chocolate, it is hard to get info due to the devastation.

Nancy, I noticed your smile before I saw the bandage, believe it or not. My son had 14 stitches and a long scar on his cheek (he was busy being 4, ran right into a tail gate). I put Vitamin E oil on the scar daily, followed up by sunscreen religiously (!!!) and the reddish color disappeared within 3 months. After the redness was gone I only put sunscreen on it, but I did that for a year.
Then there's always good ol' Neosporin. It has an ingredient in it that removes pigment from the skin. (Which is why black people should never use Neosporin!) Neosporin will work faster than everything else combined. It can be used until the redness is gone. It will remove ALL pigment from your skin. If you're tan, or of spanish or latin decent, you WILL have a white patch left behind so DON'T use Neosporin if you're not caucasion.

Take care I sure hope your hibernation period doesn't last that long! I've had thoughts of surgery on myself but not in this lifetime $$.

Nancy, I agree with Christine about the Vitamin E. My doctor had me put Vitamin E on the incision on my arm after surgery from a car accident to thin the scar. It worked great & it is barely visible. Vitamin E is good for you too. I just punctured a capsule & used a little bit. I put it on several times a day over several months. I have very sensitive skin so I was worried that it would irritate it, but it's didn't.

I just finished cutting some 4" strips and 11" strips for a Irish Chain quilt I'm making for ME. I usually make quilts for everyone else, this one is for me. I'm waiting to see how many strips we need to cut for the MQ. Thursday afternoon, getting more fabric for a quilt for my grandson. So I will wash, then need to iron that.
