I just noticed that after being a member of QCA for 3 years I have finally topped 1000 posts!!  Yeah Me!!

Wow Elaine.  It appears that you should either be on site more often or be more talkative one....LOL

For being retired I sure don't spend much time in my studio.  I worked at the LQS, and spent all day cutting kits of various types. More of the same on Friday and Saturday, and Monday.

Elaine, I'm not sure you understand the concept of retirement!  LOL

Woo-hoo, Elaine, congrats! Big news everyone! My DH surprised me me the other day with a Singer sewing/quilting machine with an extension table! It's even digitized! (Don't ask me how to use it though!) The bummer is that same day I had to have a badly infected ingrown toenail removed. Yuck! Then the podiatrist and I decided to fix it so it can't happen again! Ouch!!! Needless to say not only does my poor big toe look really gross, but it hurts like the dickens, too! Anyway, I've been on bedrest and haven't had the chance to try it out yet! Can you believe it? I finally get a quilting sewing machine and I'm not allowed out of bed!!! What torture! A couple more days and I'll be able to sit down and set it up, then give it a try! If I can figure out how to use it, that is! Ah well, it's no fun if it's too easy, right? Being homebound as I am, I've nothing better to do than challenge my mind by learning new things! I love it, makes me feel like I'm still a part of the human race, instead of being stuck in my home! Anyway, I couldn't wait to tell you all about my new machine! Just think, in a couple more days, I'll be happily quilting away(sort of)! Big hugs to all!

Glad to hear you are healing and GOT A NEW MACHINE!!!!  You will love an electronic one over the old ones we used till now!

Sure is! Last night DH brought home a brand new DECENT digital camera home for me! Yikes! My b-day isn't until January! I'll post pictures....as soon as I figure out how to use it, too..that is!
