Patti - I bet your Christmas balls go over like hot cakes - very very cute! what did you stuff them with? Regular batting?
Thea: what did you stuff them with? Regular batting?
they are actually covered smooth styrofoam balls. sections are cut, batting put on top of the sections and fabric tucked in the cuts. then decorative cord covering the divisions is glued on. So actually fairly simple. I am finding the hardest part is drawing the divisions on the balls. I did the easiest two in the book so far. Patti - that is just too sweet! I think I saw that book a while back - but since I gave my tree away to my son and dil, I didn't think I would need new ornaments - but making them for a bazaar or to sell at a quilt show - now that would be sweet. You are too clever my friend! Very nice job!
These are lovely Christmas balls.

Debbie-do: Patti: Here are my first two kimekomi fabric balls I am making to sell at the local Christmas bazaar. I love these! I have all the parts to make some but haven't yet. Did you put fleece under the fabric?
Nevermind that last question... I didn't read far enough!
