I hope my QCA friends are safe from the storm...have a great weekend
I finally got a chance to work on this day. This is the hot ribbon applique I started a couple of months ago in a class I took at the local LQS. I still need to apply the beads, but I don't have a needle thin enough to go through the beads, so I guess it is another trip to the LQS.
And this is the Bingo Bag that my neighbor requested as a gift for one of her friends.
gini: i'm telling you, debbie, the sugar and olive oil is cheap and i haven't found a better hand softener over the counter.

Everyone is so productive. Gini I love your wildflowers
Karla, great projects -- love the Bingo Bag
Edna, beautiful quilt
MMM, I do love your Halloween decoration.
Today we celebrated the 2 littlest granddaughters' birthdays (turned 5 and 6) at a small indoor "amusement park" It was fun and LOUD in there. All the grands had a good time, even the oldest who is too old / big for most of the rides -- he'll be 13 in a few weeks. Made them a Hello Kitty strawberry cake at their request. The youngest DGS (8) is spending the night with us (daughter and almost 13 yo DGS) so its a "boy movie" night.
Spudgrandma: I doubt it. I cannot even get the Admin to respond to my question. I PMd them twice about my sign in prob and have not heard back.

Some of you have been very busy!
Gini, I love your wildflowers on that brown background.
Karla, cute bag and ribbon flower.
Edna, love those petals on your flower.
MM, great little Halloween wallhanging.
Kelly, that is a cute butterfly fabric, I'm sure some little girl will love it.
Not much quilting today, instead I've been wrestling with some satin fabric, determined to transform it into a Snow white dress. I tried to convince my sweet DD that Snow White could have had a dress made out of nice sturdy, stable quilting fabric. She didn't go for it, shiny satin that slips, slides, frays, ravels and does not always co-operate, that's what she had to have. But it's just about done, I just need to figure out something instead of a zipper, velcro maybe, it's only a costume. Those big brown eyes of hers better be sparkling in the morning when she sees it!
Kelly beauitful fabric. wha tyou have done so far looks fantastic.
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Karla both are very pretty . Great job.
