It's been finished for a few days but here is the 30s Dresden Plates cushion. After a lot of "spirits" speaking to me this morning, including the quilting spirit I have started quilting the twin quilt in the same pattern.
Very pretty Agnes, I love the 30s repos!
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Elizabeth: thea, I love this doggie quilt, are the dogs machine embroidery???

And I am working on Jay's b/d present - making him a beautiful Northern Woods quilt... 5 blocks done as far as making the block and pressing the raw edge appliques in place - I will start doing the satin stitch work soon... I don't want to wait till all 20 blocks are done because it is already a daunting task - but I am motivated...lol
awww nice doggies!
Thank you Pam!
max, you make such fun quilts. i love both of them.
thea, your dogs are very cool, too.

Donna: Today I worked on the "Tube Quilting" table runner I started. I wanted to make placemats to match but I didnt have enough of the material. (Note to self never never never buy less than 1 yard of fabric I love) So, I made what I am calling a "Table Mat". It is for a small table and serves the purpose of both a runner and mats. What do yall think??? Success or Failure??? It is going to my daughter because she has a small dinning room table. definitely success, i love it, donna. does everyone else chant in their head S-U-CC-E-SS, when they are spelling out this word, just like in high school when we were following cheers?

Finally got a chance to work on my "first" quilt again today. I started it over a year and a half ago and got so busy taking orders, then a move, then back to taking orders that I didn't get to work on it again for a year. A couple of other ladies that quilt decided we should meet every couple of weeks, so I decided I wasn't taking work with me! I got out my old quilt and started working on it. And I didn't realize how far my piecing had come in such a short time. I'm laughing at my oddly shaped squares and misaligned pieces now, but thinking I'm still going to finish it. It's my "first" quilt. The one that should go on my bed and eventually be passed on to my kids.
Hang in there Tammy and you will get it done. BTW, I don't think we have met so I wanted to say Hello and nice to meet you!
Thank you Gini. And I was a cheerleader so I have chanted it many many times.
