Belfrybat--
Lovely quilt. The color combination is very striking.

Looking forward to a pic of the finished project. Isn't it annoying that such a small difference in seam allowance can become a major problem?
Donna- you whipped that block up pretty fast!
Everyone else- nice work!
All who have complimented my cranes-thanks! Any who'd like a crane's pattern- contact me (just not the lg cranes- that was a copyrighted purchased pattern). Quilt away folks!
WOW everyone 's quilts are fabulous . you are all doing a fantastic job. To many to go back and write a message to each of you but I did see them and they are all awesome. I will have to check out the tube one it looks like fun. Barbara
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!

That's going to be a beautiful quilt!
Brigit-Carol,
You're ahead of us. Great job on your quilt.
Joyce Brenden:major problem
Vivian,
What was the pattern you were using that the pattern is wrong? Just in case, I don't want to do that pattern and find out too late. :-) Can't wait to see the picture and sorry you had a problems. Frustrating to say the least.
Tension?? Whew! Hope that gets settled soon.
Thanks Ramona, I am making a table runner out of it and trying to figure out a way to make placemats that will be big enough. Here is a pic of the table runner top.
Very nice Donna!
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
That is very, very pretty! Love the fabrics.
Very pretty table runner, Donna. The tube quilting is neat, how about adding a couple of borders to make the placemats wider and just one skinny border on the top and bottom. Probably don't know what I'm talking about but looking at your TR that's what I think your problem is.

Donna, I didn't mean to say you had a problem, just thinking that was what you meant by making the place mats big enough.
Everyone's quilts are very pretty. All of you have been very busy.

Instead of making the block the size you have in your table runner, why don't you go down to a smaller square up ruler and cut a couple of the block shapes from it. Maybe placing a block in one or two of the corners and then add light fabric for the center of the placemat. Am I making sense?
