Very nice Donna.
Pretty block, Donna.
Good job. t turned out very nice. Ginny
Very nice tube quilt squares. I really like this method. Here's a lap quilt top I did a month ago using the same technique. Putting the border on is a bit tricky as the quilt is on the bias, but I sewed a running stitch all around it so I could ease it into the binding.
Your tube quilting block looks great Donna..
Belfrybat.. great quilt...

Patricia, you have way more patience than I to make a king size quilt out of 2inch squares! It's beautiful.
pam I love the cranes. I think it will look even more amazing when it will be all quilted.
belfrybat, your tube quilt is so pretty. You did a great job on your top.
Kelly and Donna, your blocks look great. I'm sure the finished product will just make someone's day...that is if you are giving it away...lol
I kinda worked on a quilt yesterday. I did an origami bag, then cut more shirts for quilts and helped a friend baste her quilt. I was too busy making cookies and bread to sew more than that.
to all have a great week. I don't post often but I sure look at what your beautiful minds help your hands creates!

BB, love how your top turned out
I have been working on a quilt i started at the Leavenworth retreat. I had another retreat here at home and took that quilt to work on as it didn't go so good in Leavenworth. Turns out, there is nothing wrong with the pattern, it is the seams. I made one section 1/16th of an inch to big. A thread basicly. Which can be stretched out. But there are so many seams in the pattern that by the time I got two feet up the column, I was out a significant amount. So, what to do??? I remove a section of the pattern, and the rest seems to be going togeather really well. I have the top half made and will finish it today. Ready for borders and quilting. I actually like the pattern better without the latice in it.
I'll post a picture when I get it done.
I am really looking forward to going to Salt Lake City for the HandiQuilter course I booked for early November. I am holding off on doing any more quilting until my problems with the tension can be delt with. (which is getting better, but not good enough)
