Belfrybat --- It looks like you are well on your way to having a lovely sewing area sharing space with your meditation area. I am sure you will enjoy it.

Nice job Ramona!!! I just bought that fabric on the back when I was in Virginia! I also got a piece of the same fabric with the colors reversed. Don't know how I will be using them yet but they called my name when I walked past them. :o)
Thank you Marge! I enjoyed working on it and I loved her fabrics. Can't wait to see what you make out of your find.
Marge (AKA Dimples): Max - your Harry Potter is great. How long did it take you to do the project?

Marge,
It took 7 months, 2 days....which seemed like FOREVER! I did work on other quilts while working on it, but it stayed on the design board the whole time.

Belfrybat,
Thank you for sharing pictures of your new sewing space. It makes a big difference when you can have a spot dedicated just to sewing and quilting. You are going to be able to work on some wonderful projects.
Only suggestion...bigger design wall. Or a second smaller one. It really helps me to audition colors for the next project, while having the current one on the main wall.
Ramona, Your quilt is great and your quilting is first class. Very nice
Joan L,
Thank you so very much!!
Ramona, your red and white quilt is absolutely beautiful, quilting as well. Your friend will be thrilled to get it, lucky friend!

BB, thank you for sharing that personal information. Also for understanding some of my racier posts.
This weekend was my quilt weekend. Went to the quilt shop and picked up the one for my AZ project and dropped off the one for my brother Rick. Got home and started a scrappy quilt for the retreat center that I volunteered a few quilts for their opening. It turned out great. My friend Jan was staying the weekend and I finally had cut out the hundred and hundreds of pieces for her quilt. So I put 1 block together so she could take home and so her family. Please pray for her mom who is in kidney failure. So 1 quilt block done and many many more to go (it's a queen size). Then sometime this week I need to get back to quilting Indy's trainer's quilt and finally 2 minis. I'm getting tired thinking about it. Goodnight zzzz Guilty dreams.

Brigit-Carol, Thanks for sharing the photos of your design area. I'm currently planning a move into a different space and I've been brainstorming ideas, so it's always great to see what others are doing. Also, what appears to be Craftsy BOMs on your design wall look great. :)
Ramona, your red embroidery is simply to die for. LOVE IT.
Linda, prayers going up for Jan's mom and family. God Bless.
Ramona
Beautiful red and white quilt. Great job on the quilting.

Your Harry Potter quilt is spectacular. You have done an amazing job on this one. I love the "woodwork" on the book shelf.
Thanks all for your comments on my quilt / meditation space. Yes, that is the Craftsy BOM. I put it up for the photo as I didn't want to show a blank design wall. Wish I had space for something larger but I don't have much wall space in this house as it is an "open floor" plan.
Ramona - I really love your quilting work on the red and white quilt, especially the tiny stippling around the embroidery. Does anyone know the name of the block she used between the embroidery that looks like a cross? I really like it.
If I've missed saying "Kudos" to anyone else who completed a project lately, mea culpa! With the site being down so much and my busyness in moving things around, I've lost count of who I've responded to.
