Thank you all for your wonderful comments on Harry Potter. I really appreciate your support!
Marie--I don't think a quilter qualifies as 'master quilter' until they can at least do an accurate HST and sew a reasonably straight 1/4" seam...I fail at both! But thank you!

Belfrybat: Amber - your table runner (?) is fabulous. It must have been a real chore to get the "spokes" all going in the right direction. But obviously well worth it as the piece is truly striking. And since I am a fan of nine patch, I love your scrappy batik effect. Thank you for giving me a great idea. (You do know that imitation is the highest form of flattery, right?)

Donna: Amber did you use a pattern for the table runner? If so, would you share the name of it.?

Its called "Bargello Color Wheel' by Cheryl Phillips - Phillips Fiber Art I found it at my LQS several years ago - the tool came with it. Hope that helps you.

Amber, your table topper is magnificent!! I'm a big Sudoku fan too :o)
Today I quilted the tops and assembled my pillowcases. The 9 patches were supplied by my friend. She made them from her grandmother's favorite shirts. The pillow covers (16") are Christmas presents for her aunts and cousins.
