My head doesn't feel that great today either, Leslie.
Millbury, MA
Leslie and Marie,
Hope you're both feeling better soon.
Marsha, love all your quilts. I love how each is so different from each other. Love all your color and fabric choices.
Angele, I hope to get some cheap checkers soon, my dogs have a tendency to eat anything they get their paws on.... If they don't chew them up, ill look into getting nicer pieces. and I don't even play checkers?
Prescott Valley, AZ, indeed Donna.

Cloth Plus is a great store. And yes they are very down to earth. Did you go the the Chino Valley Quilt Show? Be sure to ask for me when you come into Cracker Barrel, I am the only Donna there.

Oh hope both you and Leslie feel much better in the morning.!

Could not sleep so Maddie and I decided to work on quilts. She has an adorable quilt top almost done, and I started binding on one for a baby gift.. 1am and Maddie is singing while she presses, that girl loves to press!!
we bothhad done 4 quilts but she tells me tonight 2 of mine are still UFO's!!
Tops are piling up waiting for LA to come back.

After having to take out part of what I did yesterday because I picked up the wrong printout of my layout, I made some good headway on putting the top together for our quilt. Before I started today, I destroyed all of the "test" layouts that I rejected so i wouldn't make that mistkae again. :o{ I still have a long way to go but decided to take a break and work on a Christmas present. Making a set of place mats for DIL.
Went to the local bar and grill where they gave me a double shot of Don Julio for my Birthday, so I am not sure if I should go near the sewing machine? lol
Not only did I work on a quilt today, but I finished one. I was SO glad to see that last little bit of binding done. Here is a pic of my Harry Potter's Project of Doom quilt. DH was really nice this evening and helped me get it hung up so I could get a photo. I guess he will get an extra cup of pudding for dessert tomorrow.
Back to the sewing room...I have a modern lap quilt I'm working on now, and the Alzheimer's research project I donate my lap quilts to has requested some red/white/blue patriotic themed quilts for a special project they are starting. I have a design I've been wanting to try that should fit with the r/w/b, so I'd better get to work. Ya'll have a quilty day! Max
Max, your HP looks fantastic, love how you did the book case

Yes I'm going to tackle embroidering the great neices quilts. tried on practice piece a few minutes ago. headed out to vote then will try to get both quilts completed today. Gonna come home and fix a late, nice hot breakfast so I will have enough energy to use my Ellegante...yes all that watching it embroider is exhausting, is it not?
Max--Beautiful quilt. The bookcase is so realistic looking. Wonderful job.
