Barbara, thanks so much,we are cat lovers. I have 5 cats, 4 black and white tuxedos and 1 black with a tiny white splotch on his belly. We also have 3 dogs! It's critter heaven here! lol

My great neice has cats too so I figured she could use a cat quilt. I'll finish it when I get back from my IL trip.

Finally Finished !  I had no idea it would take this long but today tis done!  Seven ladies came today from my Bible study group to finish the quilt for our music minister and family who left well over a year ago!  We sewed on the yoyos and buttons today.

Debbie-do, That quilt sure turned out beautifullly.  I like the idea of yo-yo's and buttons.  The pinwheels did work very well as a border.  I am sure they will treasure it.

I just got on-line tonight after taking quilt pictures all day and see that I didn't miss anything after I shut the computer down before noon.  It seems we were unable to post after that until now.  I posted 3 pictures in Nana's scrappy group, then checked for emails - - there were none!

Here are a few of the 30 wheelchair quilts that I hung and pictured today.  I will post all of them in my gallery - about 20 finished and the rest tops.

This is the quilt that I made for Rich's mother to keep her legs warm this winter.  We all thought the colors suited her.

This is a blurry picture of my favorite quilt.  The print was a border print that I cut apart to make the strips and border.  I added a beige leaf print for the neutral.  I lacked fabric to make the border and this is what I ended up with.  I have had the idea of angled or rounded corners so that they don't drag or get caught under wheels of the wheelchair.  The print was one of the fabrics donated by a fabric shop that was going out of business.  When she learned of my project, she sent me some one-yard pieces and many fat quarters.  Most of the floral quilts I have made are with those fabrics.  One fat quarter will make 12 pieces that I have framed in some way with more of her fabrics or some of my stash.

I need to make more of these - would work well with fishing, sport, or hunting prints for men.

This is Bonnie Hunter's block from Quiltmakers 100 Blocks #4.  I enlarged the block to 18" because that fit my scraps better.  I had to piece the green borders because that was one of the small 11 x 13 calicos I had.

A little of Bonnie Hunter's "Shirttails".  The fine stripe is from one of Rich's too-small dress shirts.  I used that shirt in 3 quilts.  The orange is not part of the quilt - they are pinmors.  This is one quilt ready for quilting.  I will probably go stitch-in-the-ditch with squares or diagonals in the alternate blocks.
