Love the quilts ladies! Hey the kitty one is adorable...
I got about half of the blocks put together for our 2 yr. old grandson, Nolan! So loving it! Worked 3 hours on it, till my boss called and wondered what was wrong w/me as he had commented on my FB page and sent me a text and I hadn't responded to it! I told him I was feeling 100% better (hormones) so had gotten downstairs to quilt. He said, ooooohhhhhh ok. At least he cares! :-) Now iceing my back and had lunch. Can't wait to get the top together!

Great looking quilts Ladies. I'm trying my hand at hand quilting a full size quilt for my Son-In -Law for Christmas. I pieced it last year and never quilted it. I didn't know what to do with it. I decided on doing a big stitch and even with the larger stitches it will be right up to the day before I get it done. Still trying to get that rocking motion down.
Jody - love your cats quilts. That is such fun fabric. And Maggie, your quilt is very nice. Love the colours--I actually have that circle fabric and one that looks very similar to the striped one. Been wondering what to do with them. One of these days I hope to be experienced enough for that kind of work, especially the quilting part.
Belfry at, Maggie and Jody, I love your quilts. I am planing on doing a disappearing one soon. The cats look like so much fun! And the chocolate mint...nice big blocks. All these are so much fun! With some of you quilting, others canning, some more cleaning, wow, do I need to get off work and do sonething in my house! You put me to shame as I got home and was tired today. Sometimes professional development days are more tiring than regular days.
have a fun satisfying weekend doing what you want to do!

Just made my table topper. I wanted to make at checkerboard and make it round at the same time. saw this star topper that was originally a tree skirt. With some modifications, I made it fit my table. I would have chosen brighter colors but the chairs surrounding the table are quite colorful.
Annie, this is great. I love your reversible table topper.
Judy, thanks. Have to laugh. Just showed DH and his comment. . . . . "That's great honey, because we are such the checker players. " lol. I cant remember the last time I played checkers, but I just had to have a quited checker board for my new round table.
