Belfrybat: Very pretty! Love the colors!
I'm a beginner too and have almost completed my first quilt top! Worked 6 hours on it yesterday...today I am blind! lol
Joni, tired just reading about you're day. Hope all goes well
Great job on you're disappearing nine patch. I find the quilting as much fun as the piecing, remember there are no mistakes, just artistry!
Belfry, your quilt looks wonderful
Thanks Gini, that pic was taken 46 years ago WOW lol
Very pretty BB!
Elizabeth, no need to be tired.
I only do what I can and save the rest for another day. I've decided to not do sewing room and groom horses instead, that's totally more fun. The chow chow can wait a few days, or at least until Sunday afternoon. I'm a great procrastinator.
Yep pillows cut out first, then horses groomed...sounds good to me. Already clean great room, kitchen and sun room...well vacuumed at least.
BTW I love Southern California, especially the San Diego area and the Guatay Mtns. Used to live in a home called Castle Rock in Descanso CA...understand it is now a historical site. San Francisco another favorite area.
I refuse to do more canning today...I am going to quilt...got some brand new fabric that I can't wait to use on something. Do have to do the laundry today, however, so I best get that started. And must get some of the housecleaning done as we are going to have a house full of people on Sunday. My husband has a group coming in for a CCW (Concealed Weapons) course...why it has to be in my house I don't know, but husbands are like that, I guess.
BB beautiful quilt ,you did a really nice job. Barbara
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Karla, good for you, you need a break
Your new avatar pic is so cute. You were a pretty little girl. And that hair looks sorta red.....
I'm going to post my not-quite-finished cat quilt. My 1st quilt in 47 years! lol I still have 1 more border to put on it but I wanted a picture. I ran outside and tried as best I could in the breeze to get these pictures. The quilt is for my great neice. I'm having fun with this.
Closeup of the blocks:
I have to wait a couple weeks to finish it because I'm going to Illinois but can't wait to get it done.
quilt looks great, your niece will love it!
