Wow, Max, quite the bright beautiful modern quilt!  Are there more colors/fabrics to come?

gini:
my progress on my mini.  these blocks will make about 9.5 inches square when they're sewn together

So I'm guessing you're hand-sewing this...  Will it be done at 9.5 inches, or is there more to come?

Wow I feel like such a slacker with all the beautiful projects going on.  The lovely bags, the miniature, the modern, the sudoku, the EPP, and all this talk about more PP.  This is all I have accomplished in the last month.  I made an I Spy quilt for my DGD # 1 when she turned two.  This weekend we went to the Shenandoah Valley, drove the Skyline Drive, went to the Apple Butter Festival, picked apples and celebrated DGD #2's second birthday.  The quilt is 63 x 70 with 200 hexagons and 400 triangles.  Each hexi is  is a different novelty fabric.  Oh and I apologize for lurking on the site.  Maybe when work settles down to a regular schedule I'll be able to comment more often.  Back into the shadows I go.    LOL  Good night all.

Wow Mimi I love your I Spy quilt!  Your DGD is quite lucky to have a grandmother lie you.  What beautiful dreams will come from looking at all these hexagons! You did an awesome job!

Goodness, that doesn't sound like slacking to me!  Nice job!

I hope your work settles down so you can come chat more often. We've missed you!

Mimi--love your I Spy quilt. Bet your DGD did, also!  Come back soon.

Angele, Debbie, and Nancy--thank you!  Yes, there are a few more colors, mostly purples. And several more blocks.  It will be interesting to watch it develop, as I have no idea where it is going. I think it resembles a science project. DH says morse code.

mimi, i love yuor i spy quilt,  you have a lovely family.

i hate the first few weeks of school.   i've already missed one violin lesson and have gone to the wrong soccer fields three times.  we have a limited number of soccer fields to go around and everything in town revolves around the kids' practice schedules.  every quarter, everyone's events switch days.

I did!  I got the border on Charmaine's square for the RR.  And I did my first block for the snowman exchange.  Except....I don't like it.  It's too dark for my tastes, so I have to try to fix it, or I'll choose a different block.  Darn it anyway...

I also finally decided what I am going to do for my sis for her very belated wedding quilt.  And I dug out the fabrics for it.  I think I have enough in my stash for almost all of it.
