Nana:
For some reason it took forever....too many HSTs...LOL>

Speaking of HST, has anyone heard from Max?  (The lover/later of HSTs...LOL!)  I was thinking of her last night and realizing I haven't seen a post from her in some time.  I love her sense of humor and stories!  Does anyone know if she is OK?

Carol W:

Woohoo - I'm excited!!  Just returned home from the county fair and my "In The Garden" quilt received Best of Show in the hand quilted catagory!! And... I also received Best of Show on a braided table runner!  Everything else I entered received blue ribbons!  Woohoo so exciting!!!

Carol, that's great! Now you have visible proof that you are a good quilter and no one can dispute it. You have ribbons to show for it. Congratulations!

It's Quilting! You're supposed to be having fun!

Donna,

Very, very nice on your Spring Braid. I do believe I have some of the purple butterfly fabric. :-) Great job!

I check in everyday (when the site cooperates) to see what everyone is up to.  Enjoy seeing all the beautiful work everyone is doing and get my daily chuckles at CC & Company.  Both hands are limiting the amount I use them each day, so I am dedicating most of the time they allow to trying to finish my Harry Potter Quilt.  Progress is slow and it doesn't even have a single HST in it!!

Back to lurk mode.

Max

PS:  Carol W--Congrats on all the Purples and Blues! But I am not surprised one bit after seeing all the wonderful quilts you make.

thank you all for the nice comments on my spring braid.  Did anyone think I needed to add a small purple border on it,  maybe 3 incher?
