Do yall think EQ7 is something a newbie quilter would use???
I'm an oldie quilter and I'm not the least bit interested in the EQ7. For years I worked on a computer and I prefer to quilt not using a computer. I know computers have their advantages, But for some unknown reason I don't want to use it for quilting. Goodness knows I use it for nearly everything else.
Vivian, very pretty quilt and good job on the mitre!

That was my best corner and it photographed well!! the others have a mini pucker and i dont know why some day i'll figure it out but for now, this quilt goes to a two year old so I'm not super concerned.

Vivian, maybe we can get Gini to give us a refresher in Leavenworth. I still have the photos from her first lesson, but I didn't have any captions for the photos. I learned another really interesting way to do mitered corners at the Madison show. It also creates some cute inner scallops at the same time that frame your quilt design. It wouldn't be used on anything larger than a 40" inch wall quilt, though.

Nancy, is it simple enough for you to put a tutorial here online? Would love to see it.

Your miter looks great and that is a beautiful quilt. I love the fabrics.

Yes, every day for the last week!! And, more this afternoon:
I ***finally*** have the Goose Tracks quilt fully assembled...late last night! This is an embroidery "in the hoop" quilt that I have been working on for over a year! It truly is not the easiest quilt I have ever done...not by a long ways...lol! It's looking good (pictures to come), but it has tried my patience many, many times.
I still need to put on the binding, hanging sleeve, and label and then it will be truly finished. But, I am celebrating getting these blocks all sewn together...Yea!

Maybe I'll bring the top and go over it with Gini. Unless I get a second wind and some backing to quilt it of course.
