Pam....WOW!!!!! Love the quilt. If it needs a home send it here, I can  change the color scheme of one of my rooms to match the quilt.

Everyone's qults are fantastic. Thank you for the advice on my Amish block quilt. Love the ideas. I think I'm going to hand quilt this one. By the way, this quilt is going to be donated to a new retreat center in Arizona for ministers and their spouses and military chaplins. Don't worry girls your names will be listed on the back label.

Hugs,

Annie, nice top. Barbara, thanks. It was my first ragquilt, thouhg, not my first quilt. I would never sell that one. I also did sell more quilts, that lady is one of my regulars, so to speak. I never sold a big one, but the smaller pieces occasionally change hands.

Gerie.

Gerie, I love your rag quilt!  Congrats on selling it.  What size is it, curious?  Good for you working on your Christmas stuff to sell, makes Christmas presents a little more affordable for you and someone out there will be receiving a home made gift.  Win/win situation.

Melinda Warner:
I am working on an engagement quilt for my fiance' and I, and I have run out of a Kaufman fabric in green and gold that is called Oriental Traditions 6. The only other identifying numbers I can find on it are that it is a Screen Print D# 10783.

Melinda, is this what you are looking for?

I found it herehttp://store.sewnatural.net/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=19617111252581961&Store_id=269&page_id=23&Item_ID=26332

I have never taken the time or had the luxury of quilting all day at home uninterupted.  So far, I am really enjoying it.  My sewing is going well, which it never did before as I always seemed to have to relearn and then go ahead.  I have 13 of 18 blocks done and will have the borders on by tonight.  And then I'll have another long arm UFO.

Okay - I have been talking about Snowmen A-Z for a while now and here she is... or he is...or they are...

I now only have rainbow to get done before I start on Sew Spooky....

I really like how this quilt came out and it is hanging awaiting a backing and quilting that I hope to have done before winter comes to Oklahoma.

Very Pretty Annie - I think this is one of those quilts that does need some sort of border - but something simple would work - nothing to take away from the interior - awesome job.

Gerie:

Hi Ladies,

a picture of my first ragquilt. I cut the fabrics on monday, finished it on friday and sold it on saturday. I'm still baffled. I was showing it and the lady said, oh, I'm attending a party tonight and I have no gift yet, I want to buy it.

I was so surprised and flattered. Today I worked on my mystery quilt and I started on my christmas stuff. I always start in september to make things to sell at the christmasfair in our neighbouring village.

Very cute rag quilt - here in the states we would say very patriotic - Congratulations on selling it!  If that is what you wanted to do.  I have had offers to sell many of my quilts but haven't sold any to date...that I haven't made specifically for a sale quilt.  Most of my quilts go to family as gifts and my son or husband claim them all - if it is leaving the house I have to tell them right up front and sometimes I have had to make 2 of the same quilt as they want it...teehee...

Again congratulations - it is a very cute quilt.
