Thanks, friends! I am proud - to have actually finished a quilt within about 6 weeks! That's a new record for me! And DH is proud to have drawn his own furniture design and figured out how to cut the arc he needed. Can't wait for my first night's sleep under a quilt (unless you count sofa naps under a lap quilt).

Nancy, the quilt and the bed are both fantastic! Love the pattern of the quilt and the design of the bed.

It's Quilting! You're supposed to be having fun!
Pam,
Thank you! I finished the one for DD today and will mail them tomorrow. I hope they get there by the weekend but, if not, they will be there for the tournament the following week. The GDs are 3 and 4 y/o and GS is 7. I will post a picture when I get one.
Nancy,
How beautiful!! That quilt is just wonderful and it goes with your bed as well as your carpet. Great job!!!!
Nancy, your quilt is beautiful, looks fantastic on the gorgeous bed

MNnancy: My first queen-sized quilt - almost too big to fit on my HQ 16 frame. I made it to showcase the solid-oak bed DH built for us. I'll make some matching throw pillows next. A quilted wall hanging is nearly complete. ('bout time - started at VB in March) This quilt is kitty-tested and approved!

Nancy, your quilt is just beautiful! Nice job on both your parts. Glad kitty approves as well. What would we do without their approval?

I love the colors and pattern you used. The quilt really looks wonderful on that beautifully made bed. The cat even goes well with the quilt.

I am so impressed with both of you. You both should be very proud of yourselves. I love oak furniture and I love quilts. I am still working on the quilt for our bed since I am doing a block of the month with my LQS. It probably won't be done until some time after the new year so can you let us know how it feels to sleep under such a wonderful quilt. You both are so talented Thank you for the pictures.

MNancy, Love your quilt. I got both my QOV tops done, backing and binding made for both of them. This morning made this ipad tote from a workshop on craftsy. I made it a should tote.
Great fabric, Elizabeth. What a fun project!
Nancy, beautiful quilt

Elizabeth, great tote, love your fabric
thank You, the great thing about this project is that I had all the stuff nothing to buy. The fabric was left over from a blooming nine patch I had done and I was so sick of it after the king size quilt that it was fun to use it on something other than a quilt
Nancy
Your quilt is gorgeous. You did a great job and looks like kitty thinks its perfect.
