Thank You Ginny- she loves earth tones so I went to the stash and found "her" colors. She has seen a picture of it so far and she did approve of the green after all! She actually says she is "in love" with it just from the picture- Yay!
Now my Grandson (age22) is getting married in October- get this--- 10/11/12 a Thursday....yep- Thursday. So I have another quilt to make, and have to get crackin'!!!

Yeppers, you are so right, that is a really short time frame.
My granddaughter told me a secret a couple of weeks ago that her sister is expecting, but that she isn't going to tell anyone until she shows. Granddaughter no #1 is going with her when she learns the sex so she said she will let me know so I can get started on a hand quilted quilt for the baby.
These kids that think hand quilting is just as fast as machine quilting. LOL Ginny
Pam your DD's quilt is really beautiful
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Wendy this is adoborable . hope you get to finish up .
this is what I did today.the new compass for the PP compass BOM is out . had alot of fun with this one very easy to do .
You best get busy Pam! It'll be here before you know it. Congratulations on the upcoming event.
Ginny, congratulations with the new arrival to your family. Guess they haven't watched you quilt much to think you can just whip one up in a few days. I'm sure you'll get it done though.
wendymarie37,
Your UFO's are all so cute!
Wow Pam,
That turned out beautiful!! I know your daughter is going to love this a bunch more now that the borders are on. Great job!
Barbara,
Your compass is striking!
Not working on a quilt today but I am working on some embroidery for two of my granddaughters. My daughter wanted them to have shirts to match to help support their brother at his baseball games.
The one on the left are the back of the shirts and the one on the right is the front.
Making one for my daughter now to match.

Pam, no this one was easy ,and thank you .
Woo hoo! I FINISHED my queen-sized quilt today. It's too dark for a picture right now. I'll wash & dry it tomorrow to soften it up and then get a picture of it when the sun is shining.
Tomorrow I have to think about a quick project to pack for the quilt expo in Madison, WI later this week. My friend Terri and I figure we can do some sewing in the motel room in the evenings.
