Wow! A brand spanking new thread! Yee-Haw!
All I've accomplished since coming home from the NE Ohio retreat is to finish up a small wall-hanging, working, & sleeping! Whew! Having fun is hard work, I guess! LOL!
I'm heading to Jo-Ann's tonight after work and then to the grocery store. I'm not sure if I'll get anything else done tonight or not - Time will tell.
A big Howdy to all of our newbies and Welcome!
I worked on a small art quilting project from the Stupendous Stitching class on Craftsy.com. This is my third one from this class. The other two were small, about 12 x 12 each. This one is twice the size. I'm having a ball.

Starling I loved the Stupendous Stitching class it was awesome .Did you make your stitchting bible ? OI love mine as use it all the time. Barbara
I made one for the machine I had when I did the first two projects. I have a new machine with a lot more stitches. I have not made the stitch bible for that one as yet. I almost certainly will be doing it, however. Just as she said, a lot of the stitches don't look like their pictures.
I loved that class so much I also took her second class. It was fun to watch, but I am unlikely to do stitch and slash.
Starling I didnt take the second one either, as it just didn't really intrest me, but I do like the way she teaches and I really loved her first class. I posted my project along time ago ,it may be in my gallery if you want to see it . Barbara
Starling Opps I just checke d and guess I didn't post them there sorry ,I'll look back thru my photos ans see if I can find them.. Barbara
Barbara, I went and checked out your gallery you have some beautiful things there. Did you ever finish the Dear Jane or the Farmer's Wife blocks? I love the ones you posted.
I worked on the cutest quilt today. My god daughter is have a baby in early November. I found a patter called "Baby Bows and Twinkle Toes" by Mary Hickey. I got the fabric the day before yesterday and cut it yesterday. Today, I finished the quilt top. I am thinking of doing the backing in minky or flannel. I'm pretty excited about this adorable quilt. I will post pictures when I am finished with it. I've never used minky before and have never quilted with flannel. We'll see how it goes. I also made a hopscotch quilt so they can play hopscotch in the house with it. I'll post those pictures too.

Melissa, it is a cute pattern. I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Most of these are mine and my friend Rose's entries - we run the department, supposed to take down the quilts at 2:00, arrived at 1:00 to take pictures, and lots of people had already taken theirs down - anxious to get their check, no doubt. So much for rules, Ha! Get to see this many anyway.
Carol
Lots of beautiful quilts. Thanks for sharing.
