Well, felt better all of 3 days and now have a super headache. Thinking sinus something . . . I have Dr. appt on Thurs. so will hold on till then. So tired of being sick w/one thing or another.
Did work on quilt, am almost half-way done w/the border. Yay!
Cute cards Sukochi, your little quilt is cute too.
Since it's not a quilt, I'll post this here. DH requested a shop apron, and I finally finished it today. I made it two-sided with canvas on one side with large pockets for general woodworking. I laminated the other side so that he could use it when he's staining and varnishing projects. I wasn't working from a pattern, and I'm not happy with all aspects of the design I came up with. When I'm caught up on other projects, I may sew him another version making the bib less wide at the top and changing the way the straps and belt come together. I wouldn't make it reversible, either, because this apron is just too heavy.

Sukochi, love your little quilt

Here is my other quiltie.
Nancy, you did a great job on your DH's shop apron, especially since you didn't use a pattern. I know he appreciated your considerate gift!
I spent the morning going through my UFO's in an effort to identify what stage each UFO is in. I ended up with 15 quilts in various stages of progress. I set up a spreadsheet to help me keep track of everything & ranked each one in order of priority (which ones have the most done on them & I can finish up quickly & those that have a due date I need to meet). Now I know where to start to begin so I can finish these UFO's! These don't include the BOMs that I started for 2013.
Sukochi, another great quilty
Nancy, i think Randy and the apron both look great.
Looks like Randy likes his apron. Nice job Nancy.
Cute quilty Sukochi.
Maddie and i spent this evening cleaning our sewing room. I bought 6 totes to keep things safe in case the dogs have an accidents. Each week they get better trained but when adopted they had no idea. Took several hrs butball new fabric is foled on comic book boards and stnding nicely in wall unit. Quilt tops that need finished are in a nice pile and 2 UFOs of mine are set to be quilted lso. I am very careful to keep maddies donated fabrics separate from what i buy for me or for her personal creations(namely her batik collection),
It was so nice to see the tabletops. Hopefully tomorrow can get some longarming done. Will need to get some more backing fabrics. Maddie has some ladies sending her quilt tops again, things got real slow during holidays as everyone was busy sewing gifts i am sure.
Nan
Angele:Kris, I hope those back spasms go away soon. I hope you will be better and dancing in no time.
ls2116:Kris Hope your feeling better soon, Did you go to Dr.
Thanks Ladies. The spasms are bearable today. Using the TENS every three hours.
Is I have an appointment later in the week. I think they'll increase the dose on the muscle relaxers I take daily but I don't want that.
LaJuan Sukochi Lee:First quiltie. Be kind......
Sukochi,
I love it. The buttons are a nice touch. You did a fantastic job. (I'm not being "kind" that's the truth.)
