Cute Nancy, but no thanks...I'd Reuther fish in a boat, in summer, with a good book just in case ;-)
no sewing this weekend, just shopping.

Silly Girl! Of course we like it! They make holders for that size of square, too - you should display them!
CC, I think that's really cool what you guys are doing with the scouts programs. I was curious before when you posted about it, but didn't ask, so I'm glad you explained it here. I love that the kids are cool with stepping outside the sterotypical gender roles for each other. Kids are the best.
Only thing I remember about my time in GS is when one of the girls swallowed her ,three inch long, hat pin. The troop leader almost passed out. Our mom's came and got us. An ambulance took the poor dear to the hospital. They removed the pin and she lived to tell about it...and so did I. OUCH!!!
Sukochi

Sukochi - your little quilt is adorable!
Two post cards that were sent to me in the swap.
The green one is a metal piece under fabric and sewn around to hold it in place. It is very puffy feeling. I think ,maybe, Pam sandwaiched the metal piece with the fabric, some batting and another piece of fabric. Then sewed around the metal piece. It was backed with poster board that was used for the address side of the postcard. Interesting.
This is so much fun seeing what everyone will come up woth.
Went on a road trip today. To the Walmart in Jasper. Woo Hoo. Had a Coke vs. Pepsi taste test on the way home. Pepsi won out. It is less fizzy. Do we know how to spend an afternoon, or what?
