chocake2:My SiL took this a couple years ago. The owlets blew out of their nest in a sicamore next to their porch and found their way onto the porch. Momma owl took care of them there fora few weeks until they were old enough to fly... Drove the cat nuts!

Wendy :An Ice storm?!!! in Utah? I have lived here my whole life, and never seen such crazy weather. The inversion is sooo bad that the air aloft is about 40 degrees. By the time the rain hits the ground in the inversion, where it is a whopping 18 degrees, It freezes instantly. My car is a block of ice. I hope that it didn't ruin the cloth top of my car.

we are in Seattle to attend a funeral, and just by luck, our daughter was having an ultrasound today. I got to go with her and Owen. We are having a granddaughter, and just going by her first pictures, she is another beauty.
Then the rest of the day was spent chasing ski boots for me, not so much fun. But, I think we have me a boot they can adapt to my leg that'll work. I really hate shopping for ski boots, but my old ones won't stay buckled more than one run.

We're off early for a day of boot fitting. I love it when fitters boast about how good they are and how they can fit anyone. I have brought more fitters to their knees than I can count. One guy actively avoids me, turns and scurries the other direction when he sees me.
