What kind of outpatient surgery did she have that would take 6 hours? That sounds like major surgery that would require inpatient.
Chicago, you must check out Craigslist!
Tubes tied, balloon ablation, Gall Bladder removed. She took longer than they thought she would after surg.

Hope your niece is doing well today IS. It is 0 degrees here at my house which is no more than 20-25 miles north of you. Keep warm. I have to go out to have blood work done, think I'll wait till after noon, hoping that it gets just a little warmer. Ginny
Holy smoke, all that in one preccdure? Poor thing. That must have been awful. I will put her on my praer list, for sure. No wonder you were there so long. Rough day, IS.
Headed to Blue Ridge, a town 17 miles up the road. Need to have a bit more scraped off a mile. Yikes, It hurt last time. Not looking forward to having it done again! I don't do pain.
We went to BBQ with some Church friends, yesterday. They are our Tres Dias sponsors. Had to give htem our paperwork. Hope God leads us there in February. Would appreciate you're being in prayer about this also.
Gotta sew the one seam on Afton's quilt this aft. Take it to the LQS for my LAQ to pick up. She said she can have it to me by Mar.1st. His birthday is Mar. 12, so I will have plenty of time to get the binding on.
Everyone have a blessed. day.

I'm right there with you on those bones. We are still having to carefully check everything from China for lead...just not safe. Besides I always try my best to buy made in the USA.
How exciting, take a cruise to Alaska to buy same brand fabric as we get at our local LQS at probably for more $$.
LOL! Just kidding, when on cruise to Bahamas I saw the same fabrics there as I buy here...and much more expensive.
I love, batiks, and love Connecting Threads Batiks prices...going to order some samples so that I can out the colors and fabrics. I have enjoyed the fabrics I have purchased in the past so I probably buy some 5" squares, never had any of those anyway. Time to be bold and go for it...USA here I come again.

Um... huh? You're getting what scraped from where???
Chicagosinger, check out www.estatesales.net too. You'll be amazed at what you might find. Around here when you shop the last day of the sale they mark things down 50%!

Wow Barbara! busy busy busy, takes me ages to do 1 quilt let alone all these.
Sadly work was open again today! I also had physio on my back which was quite beneficial and did make it feel better.
I have had a delivery of fabric which was very exciting the batiks I had ordered to start my goddaughters quilt. They were a surprise as the ones I had ordered were not all available so the shop contacted me and said they would send some to match the ones they did have. They have made a good choice and I am looking forward to starting it. I go to a quilting class on Thursday and on Saturday I am spending all day doing the next round of the mystery quilt.
No more snow here today but think there is some forecast for the end of the week. We shall see!
Big hugs to all the poorly ones.

Barbara with all those quilts ready to be quilted, you are going to be busy for a while! Wow that is a very nice pile!

Well, the hope would be that they'd have something unique to their locale. And yes, everything is more expensive in Ala$ka!
