Great job on your Peanuts quilt, Marie! Remind us - who gets this one?
It sounds like you've discovered the secret to dieting. Unfortunately, my sewing room is not a no-snack zone.

trying to keep up and got pages and pages behind. I am jumping in at the end. Hope everyone had a great New Years and that 2013 is everything you want it to be.
Marie:I don't bring snacks into my sewing room, just water or tea. Looks like I should be living in my sewing room this year and maybe the pounds will just melt off. LOL
My sentiments exactly. Cute quilt.

Great idea, Marie!! I'll quilt away my excess poundage! Oh wait... I quilt at the dining room table. Dang it. How am I gonna make that work??
Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.
Happy New Year Everyone ! Marie, I love your peanuts quilt ! We just got back from DDsDDSILsand DGC in mid Georgia its only 31/2 hours from were we live in Florida but its still far enough so I dont see them on a weekly basis. I miss them babies so much. At least its not across the country. I hope everyone enjoyed their Holidays however they chose to do it. As for myself, Im kind of glad the busyness is behind us. Looking forward to getting back to my sewing room and starting a healthier lifestyle with the encouragement of all you wonderful quilting friends. Im grateful for all of you!!! Susan
Here's my twister quilt from the fall charm swap. I machined quilted a simple block pattern. Not great but not ripping anything either. This is going to stay with me so I'm not going to stress over it. Just needs the binding.
I like your twister quilt, Bonita! Great use for those fall charms!
Bonita, beautiful job, most of the time i perfer simple quilting
What was I up to today? Oh, just biding my time bidding on a Featherweight on eBay. YEA - MY BID WON! A 1948 Singer Featherweight is heading my way for $155. Supposedly it works, so we'll see. Finally, a second sewing machine...
Bonita, I love it, very pretty! I may just do this with me swap blocks also, thanks for the idea.
Thanks Nancy, and WTG on your new toy.
