That would be 3 CUPS of sugar. I don't think it would work if you just "cuss" the sugar 3 times. LOL

ROFLMAO.

Okay ladies I've completed the Elmo quilt top here it is .  Second picture will be my backing for the quilt. Will sandwich together later today so I can start machine quilting.

This is really cool. I love the backing.

Well, DH and I spent the day taking down Christmas decorations outside and inside. Love putting them up but after a month Im more than ready to have my house back to normal.  Tree was shedding terribly and quite dry so it needed to come down. Now my DS will have a New Years bonfire. Its cold here again tonight so I will sit in front of the fireplace with a good book and enjoy the quiet after having DGC , DD and DSIL for 6 days. Its so nice to spoil them and send them back home again. LOL   Susan, North Florida

Say, didn't QCA admin promise us a new server by the end of the month?  December is quickly coming to a close, and this site is not getting any speedier...

I know we haven't gotten one yet as I'm still getting "post moderation" errors.

We're under winter storm warning. It's s**wing pretty hard out there. Started before I left work. Wish I had a fireplace but since I don't I'm snuggled up with a kitty until I'm ready for bed.

Been awake and up for over an hour.  Temps at 29 for now, guess I'll get a fire started.  So glad i had the chimney sweep out last month.  On my 2nd cup of coffee and just made 3 slices of oven toast...using french bread so slices not very big, but definitely yummy.

Reading a good Tom Clancy novel, Threat Vector...hardcover 3 inches thick.  Very convoluted plot, more so than usual.  Plan on sewing later today.  Wish I could go back to sleep...oh well!

Hey, Nan,  I'm not a fabric hoarder, I'm a fabric collector...isn't there a difference?  lol   Today is going to be quiet, I hope.  I want to get downstairs and do some sewing.  I've got lots of blocks to put together for about 3 quilts...lol  Quilts that will end up going to hospice from our quilt guild.
